I just finished watching Takanori Nishikawa (you know, the man behind T.M. Revolution and abingdon school boys) duet with our beloved Gackt. It was magical!

The beginning is hilarious, because there's a malfunction and G's voice starts playing with the music, even though he's not singing. Lol!

They sing well together, though. And G surprised me with his Falsetto, yet again! So beautiful.

The song is called Konayuki (Or is is Konnayuki?) Anyways, it's really pretty. And I definitely prefer this kind of Christmas song to Jingle Bells. Lol.

At the end Taka-san and G share a lovely man-hug. It looked like "Oh, you... You're the best.. We make a great team. Get over here! *smash*" It sounded like it hurt actually, but I think they just knocked mics or something. xD

Edit: I did some more research, and for those who don't already know, the song is "Konayuki (Powdered Snow)" by Remioromen, which are these guys:


If you ask me, I think Taka-san and G's version sounds better.

But anyways, the song was apparently used on the drama 1 Litre of Tears. (Which I've heard tons about, but never actually watched... a friend of mine keeps bugging me to do so. xD)

The other night I was bored out of my mind (and distracting myself from working on an Argument and Persuasion essay for English). Whilst searching the net, I came across a cute little chibi-Gackt figure that made me want to draw! So I originally started out drawing the figure as-is, but as I progressed I wanted to put my own spin on it.

Ain't he cute? I kind of sort of did the hair he had during the performance at the Asian Song Festival... kinda, but not really. I just wanted it to be mostly pushed over to the one side. And I always liked that one pendant he used to wear, so I added that too. ^^

Anyways, what do you think? Critiques are welcome! But please don't be mean! ^^;

Okay, this isn't really going to be a long post, but I had to point something out that I thought was funny.

On Youtube, I counted 19 Setsugekka PVs uploaded since it was released. 19! And I'm sure there are more that didn't come up in my one search, since I just searched "Gackt". And there are probably going to be many more to come, ne? It has to be a record or something. I've never seen so many of the same video all uploaded at once.

Gordie is going to have a hard time taking all of them down! xDDD

I think we should all just spam Youtube with it. How awesome would that be?

Holy crap, the Setsugekka PV is out!!



The imagery is amazing; it fits the song perfectly. The song itself is so beautiful, you can hear all of the different layers of instruments- especially at the beginning.

And forgive me for saying, but for once Gackt didn't pick an ugly white chick to be in a PV with him. xDD

Now, where was Chacha? That wasn't him playing, was it? I only recognized Gackt and You... and that other guy who's name I forget. It's like all of GacktJob is disappearing. ;_;

Edit: Or I just forgot that You was the only one from Gacktjob chosen to be in this song. xD

After seeing recent pictures from the ASF Conference, I decided Gackt is quite simply the most attractive man I've ever seen, and I'm going to end up all alone because of him.

But for some reason I don't mind. Haha.

Anyway, what do you think? I thought the last picture gave a Takegami-esque vibe, so I went with it. xD
